Twelve members of the Sunshine Club met Wednesday, Oct. 10 at the home of Chari Heldenbrand for an 11 a.m. meeting and luncheon.

For roll call, president Linda Thompson asked members if they were satisfied with how their life has turned out and in what way. Answers were interesting and diverse.

Minutes of the August meeting were read and the treasurer’s report given. The September trip to Glissman House reported as a lot of fun.

Gina Lloyd reported on Helen and Tom Clancy and Linda Thompson on Judy Nelson.

Samaritan Purse boxes were distributed for those wanting to participate.

Christmas day trips were mentioned. The Christmas meeting is tentatively set for Wednesday, Dec. 12 at The Art Exchange in Panora with lunch at the Owl’s Nest.

Names were submitted for next year’s club officers.

The host served a delicious lunch after the meeting.

The next meeting is November 7 at Raccoon Ridge Music Hall. (Note the change to the first Wednesday.) Husbands are invited. Everyone is to wear a full-size apron. Several won aprons at the May meeting playing Bingo.
