Three accident reports were filed by the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office this week with snow a factor in each.

A rear-end collision took place on White Pole Road at Juniper Avenue on Friday, Feb. 15 between two westbound drivers.

Gorgonio Jimenez Islas, Casey, was driving a 2006 Ford van and was following Joshua Sutcliffe, of Stanchfield, MI, who was driving a 2013 Ford pickup. They collided when Sutcliffe slowed to turn onto Juniper Avenue as both drivers slid.

The van had $3,000 damage and the pickup $4,000 in the 9:03 a.m. accident. There were no injuries.

Krystal Beverly of Panora hit a DOT guard rail in Panora on Monday, Feb. 11 at 3:14 p.m. on a snowy road. Damage to the 2002 Cadillac she was driving was placed at $4,500 with $1.500 damage to the DOT property.

A fender-bender took place in Guthrie Center on Monday, Feb. 18 between cars driven by Tanya Craven of Guthrie Center and Russell Hay of Panora. Craven was driving a 2015 GMC and Hay a 2005 Dodge. Damage in the 11:24 a.m. accident was placed at $750.00 for both vehicles.
