The Guthrie Center Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 21 for a new business in town — It’s YOUR Time, LLC, owned by Chelsea and Kyle Coffman.

It’s YOUR Time opened Jan. 1 and offers services include massage, facials, waxing, skincare, décor, beverages, pizza and fishing supplies.

Owners are Chelsea Coffman, at 515-250-4115, and Kyle Coffman, at 515-402-6445.

Chelsea Coffman has been a licensed massage therapist in the state of Iowa for nearly seven years and a license esthetician for over four years. She is originally from the Adair-Casey area and about three years ago relocated in Minburn to a part of her husband’s family farm.

“I have always had a dream to be my own boss and business owner, and hope that we can make a goal of trying to make a bigger and better business for the community to be able to relax and enjoy their time here with us,” Chelsea said. “What I like is to see my clients faces when they get up off my table and walk out of the room glowing and saying that I had made them feel better than what they did before. That’s my biggest goal is to make each one of my clients feel a little better that they did before.”

She continued, “It was definitely a slow start, but now I would say we have had a lot more foot traffic and welcoming faces.”

The business has both Instagram and Facebook accounts under It’s YOUR Time, LLC. It is located at 101 State St. in Guthrie Center IA 50115.

Hours vary; however, the business posts when it’s open. Typical hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (during the summer and on Saturdays, hours may not run as late). The business also is available on Sunday by appointment.

“We are so grateful to be a part of a community and a chamber that is willing to take new owners in,” Chelsea said. “A huge consideration also for hosting a ribbon cutting for us. We are blessed and excited to see what the future can bring for us and for y’all.”
