Homecoming festivities took over AC/GC and Panorama schools last week. Both schools worked to get students fired up for the traditional football games with dress-up days throughout the week. AC/GC had its annual Homecoming parade on Friday afternoon. The Panorama High School cross country team delivered the game ball after a fund-raising run that began the previous week in Mount Ayr, Friday’s opponent. Both the Chargers and Panthers won their respective games. Saturday was devoted to the traditional Homecoming dance at each school. Members of the school bands got a break Saturday morning when rain caused the cancellation of the Carroll Band Days parade. Of course, Homecoming wouldn’t be complete without a king and queen to preside over the event. Above left is the royalty from Panorama High School, King Cade Kemble and Queen Payton Douglas.
