This year we are offering five different Clover Kids Clubs for kindergartners to third graders! We will have the Guthrie County Clover Kids which is for ANY and ALL kiddos who live in Guthrie County! We are also offering four after school Clover Kids so that kiddos that might not be able to make it to the Guthrie County meetings on weekends are still able to participate after school! You can do BOTH the after-school Clover Kids and the Guthrie County Clover Kids clubs! The activities don’t overlap! The main differences between the county club and after school clubs is that county meets on Sundays and is free while after school meets during the week and cost is $15.00. We hope you choose to do both or one or the other, our main goal is to be able to offer this great program to ALL youth! For more information, please contact the Guthrie County Extension Office at 641-747-2276.

On Tuesday, December 4th from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm Guthrie County Extension will be hosting a ServSafe training at our office. Heuer, Nutrition and Wellness Specialist, will be teaching the class.

This class will prepare individuals to become a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM), a requirement for food establishments in Iowa. The ServSafe® program blends information from the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research, and years of food sanitation training experience and is administered through the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
