letter to the editor
Well, hasn’t this been a ‘mixed up weather-wise’ Fall!
But nothing can take away our enthusiasm for the Christmas lights and displays in our city park which will be lit Thanksgiving night through the end of the year.
We hope families who are enjoying Thanksgiving together will make a drive through the park before leaving town.
This is our 25th year in lighting up the park, so we are hoping for more displays and lights than ever!
But as we all know the decorations/replacements bulbs are costly, so we are asking for donations to be dropped off at the G. Co. State Bank.
We will again have our annual soup supper Nov. 24 at the G.C. Activity Center at 5 p.m.
So “Ho-Ho-Ho” let’s get in the spirit before it snows!
