LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the Editor,

I heard Cindy Axne’s radio ad that said she spent childhood summers picking soybeans on her Grandparents farm in Warren County.

I was raised on a farm and now live on a farm.  I know for a fact that you do not “pick” soybeans.

You combine them sometime between mid-September and November.  It is done with a large combine, emptied into wagons from the combine bin, from there it goes  into a grain semi to be hauled to storage awaiting sale.

This ad is completely unbelievable, and I wonder if she checks these before they are put out, or simply does not know what the process is.

Whichever it is, it makes all her ads questionable.

Thank you for listening to my concern,

Myrna Beeber,
